Guests at the Charters Towers Charity Ball eagerly embraced the event's vibrant ‘Neverland’ themed decor, seizing every opportunity for photos and lively interactions.

Attendees enjoyed a variety of immersive experiences, highlighted by a performance from the Charters Towers Excelsior Brass & Regional Concert Band, the event’s chosen beneficiary.

Chè D’Amant, Vice President of the Charters Towers Charity Ball Committee, expressed her delight at seeing the enthusiastic turnout at the event on August 10.

“Guests arrived at Poppet Head Plaza and walked into a space that had been transformed into one of enchantment and wonder,” she said.

“It was beautiful to see ball goers interacting with the decor and the various setups for photo opportunities around the venue.”

When it came down to brass tacks, Mrs D’Amant said the community ‘dug deep’ to support the Charters Towers Excelsior Brass & Regional Concert Band.

“We love how the community came together on the evening, dug deep and generously supported the raffles, auction and bar,” she said.

“We hope everyone had a magical night.

“Thank you to everyone involved who helped make our visions and ideas a reality.

“We are really looking forward to announcing the total funds raised for the Excelsior Band.

“The Charity Ball is a community event, by the community, for the community.

“We had so many lovely people offering to help this year, so many donations and amazing vendors that support us each year.”
